Warehouse-Shipping/Receiving Associate
Established Southern Westchester Company has excellent opportunity for experienced Shipping/Receiving clerk looking for ideal position in progressive environment.
Responsibilities include the following:
-Accurately pick orders from designated locations
-Check product/orders to ensure the highest standard of quality assurance
-Stock product
-Ship orders using computerized systems
-Inventory control
-Housekeeping duties
-Load and unload of shipments via UPS/Fedex/LTL Carriers
Requirements:
-Minimum of 3-5 years experience in shipping and receiving environment
-Basic PC knowledge
-Ability to lift at least 60 lbs. on a daily basis
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day
-Ability to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks, previous experience preferred
-Effective written and verbal skills
-Ability to work overtime a MUST
-Clean driver’s license preferred
Must be able to pass background check as well as pre-employment drug and alcohol test and medical baseline checkup
Starting salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401K program with a guaranteed 3% Company contribution, and paid vacation.
